5REASONS Empowerment Invites Haitian Community to “Finish Strong” at Free Randolph Event

RANDOLPH, Mass. — After a year marked by economic pressure, uncertainty, and immigration-related challenges affecting families across Massachusetts, 5REASONS Empowerment Inc. is inviting members of the Haitian community and their neighbors to come together for an evening centered on resilience, encouragement, and renewed purpose.

We Are Resilient, FINISH STRONG 2026 will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stetson Hall, located at 6 South Main Street in Randolph. The event is free and open to the public.

Organizers say the gathering is intended to create a space where community members can openly recognize the difficulties many families have experienced throughout 2026 while also focusing on practical ways to move forward with greater purpose and support.

A Community Conversation About Resilience

A central feature of the evening will be an interview-style panel discussion titled “How to Finish Strong as a Community in 2026.”

Guest speakers are expected to address the psychological toll associated with immigration-related challenges and other pressures families have experienced this year. Panelists will also share personal perspectives on resilience and the steps they have taken to continue moving forward.

The discussion will incorporate 5REASONS Empowerment’s PURPOSE, MISSION, VISION, GOALS, ACTION framework, which the organization uses to help individuals translate difficult experiences into practical action and renewed direction.

“This has been one of the hardest years many of our families have faced, and we won’t pretend otherwise,” said Guerlince Semerzier, Founder and Executive Director of 5REASONS Empowerment. “But I have also seen what this community is capable of when we come together, tell the truth about our struggles, and refuse to let them have the final word.”

Semerzier said the event is intended to remind families that they do not have to navigate difficult circumstances alone and that community support can play an important role in helping people regain direction and momentum.

Open to Families and the Broader Community

5REASONS Empowerment is encouraging individuals and families to attend whether they have been personally affected by the challenges of the past year or simply want to support others in the community.

The organization describes the gathering as an opportunity for attendees to bring their questions, hear real stories of perseverance, connect with others, and leave with a stronger sense of purpose heading into the final weeks of 2026.
