We, Jean Garry Astrel, Gotchen Bernard, Frenel Anacrayon, Pierre Jean Raymond Andre, Pierre  Paul Theobale, Fred Alfred Joseph, Ernst Vilssaint, and Pedro Raphael, hereby issue this formal  and unconditional apology and public retraction concerning a series of statements we made  concerning Ms. Philippe, former President of the now dissolved League of Haitian American  Diaspora Alliance Network (LHADAN). 

These alleged statements were purportedly made through various media outlets, including:

(e) Radio Ti-moun  

(f) Radio Gamma 

(g) Radio Verite

We alleged that the named individuals made disparaging statements: 

1. Misappropriated or defrauded funds from LHADAN for her personal benefit; 2. Maintained two separate bank accounts to embezzle money from LHADAN; 3. Received illicit funds from the Embassy of Haiti and Haitian politicians for her personal  gain; 

4. Engaged in prostitution; 

5. Smoked crack cocaine; 

6. Failed to issue or present any financial reports for LHADAN; 

7. Was involved in the assassination of the President of Haiti. 

8. Gave names of people for the CEP. 

9. Registered the entity under her name. 

10. Was Ariel Henry’s lover or friend. 

We acknowledge that our actions have caused significant harm to Ms. Philippe’s personal and  professional reputation, subjected her to public humiliation. 

Collectively, we further recognize that these allegations have had an impact upon Sabine  Philippe’s well-being and character and reputation.  

Through this statement, we formally and unequivocally: 

• Fully retract every defamatory statement made about Ms. Sabine Philippe; • Agirm that Ms. Philippe has never misappropriated or embezzled funds from LHADAN; • State that Ms. Philippe has never maintained secret bank accounts for fraudulent  purposes; 

• Confirm that Ms. Philippe has never received illicit payments from the Embassy of Haiti or  any political figure; 

• Acknowledge that Ms. Philippe has never engaged in prostitution, drug use, or any criminal  activities; 

• Clarify that Ms. Philippe has maintained proper financial reporting and transparency within  LHADAN; 

• Deny any implication that Ms. Philippe has ever been involved in the assassination of the  President of Haiti. 

We extend our sincerest and unconditional apology to Ms. Sabine Philippe, her family, her  colleagues, former members of the dissolved LHADAN, and all individuals and organizations  agected by the dissemination of these defamatory statements. We accept full responsibility for  the harm caused and are committed to taking immediate corrective measures. 

We hereby pledge to: 

1. Publish and broadcast this Apology and Retraction Statement on all platforms where the  defamatory statements were originally made; 

2. Cease and desist from making, publishing, or repeating any such defamatory statements  in the future; 

3. Cooperate fully in all egorts to restore Ms. Philippe’s reputation and correct the public  record. 

This apology is intended as a formal acknowledgment of harm we alleged to have caused Ms.  Philippe and the dissolved LHADAN and a step towards accountability.
