Governor Maura Healey is urging the U.S. Senate to extend Temporary Protected Status for Haitians, warning that its expiration could devastate families, employers and essential services across Massachusetts. More than 45,000 Haitian TPS holders live in the state and play critical roles in health care, transportation, hospitality, construction and other key industries.

Hosted by the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the City of Boston, and the Consulate General of Haiti in Boston, the event highlighted Haiti’s resilience, innovation, and global impact through inspiring remarks, cultural performances, and interactive experiences designed to change the narrative about Haiti on the world stage.
