Radio France staff strike over appointment of right-wing magazine editor

Radio France staff began a two-day strike on Sunday over France Inter’s decision to hire a senior editor from the right-wing magazine Valeurs actuelles as a political commentator. Charles Sapin’s appointment has drawn criticism because the magazine has previously been convicted of racist public insult and incitement to racial hatred.
