WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Embassy of Haiti hosted a cocktail reception on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in Washington, D.C., bringing together diplomats, government officials, and Haitian community leaders for an evening of dialogue and engagement.

The reception was hosted by H.E. Lionel Delatour, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti to the United States, who delivered the welcoming remarks and formally introduced Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé of Haiti. The event also recognized Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship H.E. Raina Forbin.

Among the dignitaries in attendance were Michael Jensen, Special Advisor to the President for Western Hemisphere Affairs, and Ambassador Henry T. Wooster, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America. The reception also welcomed ambassadors representing several countries, reflecting the international significance of the gathering.
