France ramps up military aid to Lebanon as Macron calls for halt in attacks

France will strengthen its cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces and provide armoured transport vehicles along with operational and logistical support, French President Emmanuel Macron has said, as Lebanon is pulled deeper into the war in the Middle East.
