Funding Self-Determination – A Global Initiative for Haitian Prosperity

Scheduled for November 6, 2025, from 12 PM to 1 PM at UMass Boston, this session will explore how Haitian-led strategies can replace dependency on foreign aid with sustainable, community-driven investment.

Moderated by Rebecca Roseme Obounou, a strategist empowering Haitian entrepreneurs, the panel features leading voices: Dr. Guerda Nicolas, Dr. Howard Jean-Denis, Charlot Lucien, and Clifford Nau. Together, they’ll introduce the Haitian People’s Fund (HPF), a global initiative created to empower entrepreneurs, dismantle systemic barriers, and foster lasting economic resilience.

This conversation marks a critical step in redefining Haitian prosperity through self-determination and diaspora empowerment. Learn more at habsummit.com.
